— Who IOP is for

Mental health care that fits real adult life.

For adults 18 and older, our IOP provides structured support when weekly therapy is not enough, but inpatient care is not the right fit.

When motivation comes and goes and you are tired of feeling stuck

Support for adults struggling with direction, confidence, purpose, and follow-through. Career drift, isolation, and the quiet pressure of watching peers move ahead. Therapy alone has not been enough.

— Inside the program

Structured support that fits real life.

IOP meets 3 days a week for 8 weeks. Access to group therapy, individual sessions, medication management, and telehealth options all coordinated by one clinical team.

Group

Group therapy

Small cohorts of working adults. The clinical evidence is clear: progress moves faster in a room of peers who get it.

Individual

Individual therapy

A dedicated 1:1 clinician within the program, with coordinated scheduling and support from the same care team.

Medication

Medication management

On-staff prescribers coordinate medication alongside your therapy, so your treatment plan moves as one.

— The TPI advantage

When an App is a Not Enough.

Apps and matching services have a place but they are not this. IOP is structured clinical care delivered by a team, in a real room (or live on screen), with the same people every week.

The Progressive Institute

Care, with structure.

  • One clinical team. Same clinicians, same cohort, every week of the program.
  • Three group sessions plus 1:1 therapy plus medication management, coordinated under one roof.
  • Full diagnostic intake. Structured curriculum on the 8 dimensions of wellness. A real treatment plan.
  • Built for the moments weekly therapy cannot carry, and the step down after.
  • You are in a room with adults who understand. Or live on telehealth, with the same people.
VS.

Therapy apps and matching services

Help, on hold.

  • You are matched with whoever has availability, then re-matched when they leave.
  • One 45-minute session a week. No group. No coordinated medication management.
  • No diagnostic intake. No structured curriculum. No clinical team behind the screen.
  • Designed for maintenance, not for the months when things actually fall apart.
  • You are alone with your phone.

  • Private parking
  • Telehealth alternative for any session

Progressive Institute was a God send for me. I went through the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) recently. Between the therapist leading the program and the others attending, each session brought new insights to me on how to live my life. Upon completion I had gained a new set of skills I needed to maintain a healthy mental state of mind.

This place is a life changer for me. I have been in and out of therapy throughout most of my adult life and when I started IOP this past summer I was in pretty bad shape but everyone made me feel like my feelings were valid and I wasn't just a number. When my IOP of 8 weeks came to an end I felt an overwhelming sense of loss and sadness to leave such an amazing group of people, but I knew I gained a strong love for myself (something I did not know I even had within me). I continued to attend outpatient living Well weekly and I'm so grateful to the staff clinician for listening to my feelings and not pushing medication on me until I was able to regulate my emotions and was ready. I built lifelong friendships with my group and will continue to turn to Progressive for any of my future mental health concerns.

— How it works

Three short steps. Most start within 3 days.

No referral required. No long forms. A real person on the other end, usually the same day you reach out.

  1. 01

    Reach out

Call us, text, or send a short message. One question is enough to start.

  2. 02

    Quick pre-screen

A 10 to 15 minute phone call with our admissions clinician to make sure we are the right fit and to verify your insurance.

    SAME DAY, MON-FRI

  3. 03

    Start your intake

A 90-minute in-person intake with a clinician. We diagnose, build a plan, and most clients begin the program that week.

    90-minute meeting, in office

When you are ready, we are an easy step away.

Pre-screens are free, confidential, and answered by a clinician, not a call center.
